Sponsorship

Ford has a strong heritage in New Zealand and is proud to be the driving force behind the All Blacks, Black Caps, New Zealand Cricket and New Zealand Hockey. We're keen fans of motorsport too and support our very own John McIntyre in the V8SuperTourers.

Ford New Zealand is also associated with Variety the Children's charity and celebrated our 20 year anniversary with them in 2010.

All Blacks

Ford New Zealand are proud to be the driving force behind New Zealand's very own legendary winning All Blacks.

Our association extends from community grass roots rugby right up to our national team, adding strength to a sport that has been a large part of New Zealand culture for generations. 2010 marked the first year we were proudly associated with Small Blacks. They are all about having fun in rugby, while teaching our up and coming All Blacks and Black Ferns the rugby skills they'll need to be the best they can be.

Make sure you are dressed in black on the right dates and join with us in supporting and following the All Blacks for the 2012 season! For all you need to know, click here to be taken to the official All Blacks website.

NZ Cricket

Ford is excited to be involved with our New Zealand cricket teams - the BLACKCAPS, White Ferns and the six major association teams competing in the men's domestic cricket competition.

2010 marked our first year of involvement with these teams and we're delighted to be connected with New Zealand's most popular summer sport. We're proud to have our vehicles as the driving force behind the BLACKCAPS and White Ferns.

The Black Sticks Men and Women have both climbed up in the world rankings following their performances at major competitions from 2011 to 2012. The Black Sticks Women are a young talented side and have risen in world rankings from sixth to third following their fourth place at the London Olympics. By October 2012 they will be repositioned to fourth following their sixth place at the 2012 Champions Trophy. The experienced men’s team move from seventh to sixth, which follows their first ever win at the 2012 Azlan Shah tournament, fourth at the 2011 Champions Trophy, and a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The sponsorship also sees Ford support New Zealand's next generation of hockey players through ‘Small Sticks’ - Hockey New Zealand's junior programme which is currently being rolled out nationally in 2012 to give primary school children a taste for hockey and connect them with their local association.

John McIntyre Racing

We have been involved with John McIntyre Racing for several years now. John McIntyre is a professional race car driver, team owner and three time NZV8 champion.

We are excited to be behind John's team once again in the new V8SuperTourers competition. For all you need to know about John McIntyre, click here to be taken to the official team website.

Variety the Children’s Charity

2010 marked Ford New Zealand's 20th anniversary sponsoring Variety - The Children's Charity. Variety works with sick, disabled and disadvantaged children throughout New Zealand.
