New Zealand’s number one ute, the Ford Ranger, continues to be the Kiwi favourite in 2015, beating the competition handily and opening up the gap on Toyota Hilux in April sales.
According to provisional April sales figures, the Ford Ranger was the top selling ute for the month with 487 sold which leaves its nearest competitor, the Hilux, trailing behind by more than 100 vehicles in the year to date figures.
“We are of course heading into a very busy and highly competitive time for the ute market, with Fieldays coming up, so it’s great to see more people are choosing the best ute for their money – the Ford Ranger,” said Corey Holter, Managing Director Ford New Zealand.
Award Winning
In addition to being the number one ute in New Zealand, the Ford Ranger is also New Zealand’s most awarded truck, having won numerous accolades every year since launching in New Zealand, including these highly-coveted trophies;
