In these uncertain times, it’s important to us to keep you informed on how we will ensure we keep our Ford Dealership staff and customers protected and prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Vehicle sanitation is paramount and our team will be completing the following disinfection processes during our vehicle services.
- All Exterior and Interior door handles
- Steering wheel (including buttons)
- Centre console
- Gear Shifter / Selector (dial or handle)
- Park brake handle
- Radio / HVAC areas
- Touchscreen
- Start/Stop button
- Driver’s door armrest and centre console
- Window/Seat/Mirror controls
- Rear view mirror
- Seatbelt buckle and anchor
- Rear boot lid / tailgate button / handle
- Bonnet and latch
- Fuel door
- Key FOB
We’re also ensuring that high traffic customer areas within our showrooms are regularly sanitised including:
- high touch surfaces and objects (e.g. desks, telephones, keyboards, devices) are wiped with disinfectant regularly
- Handwashing protocols are adhered to, with our staff washing their hands between customers.
- Thorough wipe down with disinfectant of interior and exterior vehicle surfaces inclusive of handles, buttons, belts and other surfaces that customers are interacting with.
- We’ll also be locking cars on display following our disinfectant protocol and then opening them at customers request.
