Why am I unable to add my Vehicle Identification Number to FordPass?

If you are unable to add your Ford vehicle to the FordPass® App, verify your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is accurate or scan your VIN directly. 

Re-Enter Your VIN

Ensure you have entered all 17 characters correctly. 

Note: VINs do not include the letters I, O, and Q to avoid confusion with the numbers 1 and 0.

Scan Your VIN

Select the camera icon on the Add Vehicle screen. 

If you are still experiencing issues, contact us through Account > Help in your FordPass App.
