What is the Trailer Checklist feature in FordPass®*?
The Trailer Checklist feature provides a step-by-step guide to help ensure that your trailer is properly connected prior to towing. You can view your Trailer Checklist in the FordPass App and via your vehicle's SYNC®** console.
Important:
- The Trailer Checklist provides the minimum steps you should take to secure your trailer.
- Additional steps or checks are at your discretion.
- You can connect your trailer without using FordPass or the SYNC 4A checklists.
- You are responsible for any safety violations or events that occur due to improper trailer connections.
- FordPass may be unavailable or not working, and it cannot provide notification reminders to you for trailer checks.
