Which vehicles use AdBlue?

Many new diesel vehicles, including Ford Everest, now require the use of a Diesel Exhaust Fluid, commonly referred to as AdBlue. This fluid is automatically injected into the vehicle’s exhaust system to help reduce oxides of nitrogen emitted from the vehicle, in order to meet the latest Euro 5 emissions standards. AdBlue is stored in a small tank and, just like diesel fuel, you must ensure that AdBlue is kept topped up in your vehicle,

Since the Ford Ranger is a Light Commercial Vehicle, it does not require the use of AdBlue to meet current emissions standards (Euro V).

AdBlue is stored in a small tank and, just like diesel fuel, must be kept topped up by the driver. Further information can be found in the "Selective Catalytic Reduction System" section of your Owner’s Manual or on the AdBlue page of our website.
