When does the New Vehicle Warranty Expire?

General Warranty Information

The warranty starts on the date of registration for a Dealership demonstrator or Service/Parts loan vehicle. For a non Dealership demonstrator or Service/Parts loan vehicle, the warranty starts on the date the customer took delivery of the vehicle.

The warranty period for all new Ford vehicles collected from 1 July 2018 onwards is 5 years/unlimited km*. Any new vehicles picked up prior to 1 July 2018 are covered by the 3 year/100,000km (whichever comes first) Warranty*.

*Warranty conditions apply. 5 year/unlimited km Ford Express New Vehicles Warranty applies to new, demonstrator and service loaner vehicles delivered from 1 July 2018. Warranty period commences on the date of delivery except where the vehicle is a demonstration or service loaner vehicle, in which case it commences on the date on which it was first registered by an Authorised Ford Dealer
