FAQs
Get to know Everest Tremor
What makes the Ford Everest Tremor different from other Everest grades?
The Everest Tremor is engineered specifically for serious off-road driving. Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, General Grabber All-Terrain tyres, 255mm of ground clearance, a front steel bash plate and Rock Crawl drive mode 6 are all exclusive to this grade. You can’t option any of them onto another Everest at any price. If where you’re going is genuinely remote or technically demanding, Tremor will get you there.
What is Rock Crawl mode on the Ford Everest Tremor?
Some terrain doesn’t reward momentum, it rewards patience. Rock Crawl mode 6 manages torque wheel by wheel at low speed, letting the Everest Tremor find its footing on rocky, uneven ground rather than forcing its way through. It’s the mode for the kind of tracks that test what a vehicle is actually made of.
What tyres does the Ford Everest Tremor come with?
17-inch General Grabber All-Terrain tyres are standard, engineered for mud, rock and loose ground. The Tremor is the only Everest that leaves the factory on all-terrain rubber as standard. The smaller diameter and taller sidewall give more flex and grip where all-season tyres start to hesitate. It’s a detail that matters when the track gets tricky.
What is the ground clearance of the Ford Everest Tremor?
The Ford Everest Tremor has a ground clearance of 255mm. That’s 26mm better than any other model in the range. That might not sound like much on paper, but on a rocky track or a deep rut it’s the difference between clearing an obstacle comfortably and making contact with it. Ground clearance is one of those things you never think about until you need it.
How does the Ford Everest Tremor compare to the Wildtrak?
They’re purpose built for different things. Tremor is for where you go. Bilstein dampers, All-Terrain tyres, 255mm of clearance and Rock Crawl mode 6 make it the right choice when the terrain is genuinely demanding. Wildtrak is the ultimate tourer. Matrix LED headlights, panoramic roof and power-fold third row make adventures more comfortable. One isn’t better than the other. They’re just for different journeys.
Can the Ford Everest Tremor tow a caravan?
Yes, the Ford Everest Tremor delivers 3,500kg braked towing 71 with a genuine Ford tow pack, the same as every other model in the range. Tow/Haul mode is part of the drive mode suite. The Tremor is just as capable a tow vehicle as it is an off-road one.
